RESEARCH AREAS

My research interests lie at the intersection of consumer behaviour, strategic marketing and the evolving role of technology in business. Currently, I am focusing on how digital transformation, sustainability, and cultural contexts shape consumer decision-making and brand strategies in emerging economies.

TEACHING AREAS
My teaching philosophy centres on equipping the management graduates with a holistic and forward-thinking understanding of business. I engage students in the courses of Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management, Sales Management and Strategic Management and prepare them to navigate a dynamic world of digital disruption, emphasizing sustainable and globally-aware strategies for competitive advantage.

My professional career spans over 23 years in academia, with a focus on Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Sales Management and Strategic Management both in India and abroad. Before my academic career, I have spent 7 years in various leadership roles within Indian and French companies. My research interests lie at the intersection of consumer behaviour, strategic marketing and the evolving role of technology in business. I have publications in top-tier journals such as the British Food Journal, Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing, Logistics and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, to name a few. I am also journal reviewer and have delivered Management and Faculty Development Programs for prominent organizations like the Ministry of Education (Bhutan), NIESBUD, Border Security Force, and the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. As a "scholar-practitioner," I attempt to bridge academic theory with real-world business practice. I mentor students, consults with startups, and aligns management education with industry and societal needs.
