The Center for Learning and Teaching Advancement (CLTA) at Jaipuria Institute of Management is a strategic institutional initiative dedicated to advancing excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment in management education. As higher education continues to evolve in response to changing learner expectations, rapid technological advancements, and the growing demand for industry-relevant and evidence-based education, CLTA serves as a collaborative hub for innovation, research, and faculty development.
Guided by the philosophy of learner-centered and evidence-based education, the Center works to co-create, implement, and disseminate effective teaching and learning practices that enhance student success and academic quality. CLTA adopts a holistic approach by integrating insights from educational research, learning sciences, artificial intelligence, and global best practices with the contextual needs of Indian management education.
The Center actively engages with key stakeholders—including faculty, students, industry leaders, academic institutions, accreditation bodies, and policymakers—to design and promote innovative pedagogical approaches, authentic assessment practices, and technology-enabled learning environments. Through faculty development programmes, classroom innovation initiatives, scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), and institutional research, CLTA aims to strengthen teaching effectiveness and improve learning outcomes across the Institute.
As a catalyst for continuous improvement, CLTA fosters a culture of reflection, experimentation, collaboration, and scholarly teaching. It also serves as a platform for generating institutional knowledge, sharing best practices, and supporting evidence-informed decision-making in teaching and learning.
The long-term vision of CLTA is to position Jaipuria Institute of Management as a national thought leader in management education by bridging the gap between academic theory and industry practice, advancing innovative and impactful teaching, and contributing to the development of future-ready leaders in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
To promote high-quality, learner-centered education by empowering faculty, advancing pedagogical innovation, fostering evidence-based teaching and learning, and strengthening assessment practices that align with global standards and evolving industry needs.
Foster a culture of collaboration through faculty learning communities, peer observation, the Learning Pulse newsletter, conferences, and the dissemination of teaching innovations.
