Dr. Lokesh Vijayvargy is a distinguished academician and Professor of Operations & Decision Sciences at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. He holds a Ph.D. in Green Supply Chain Management from MNIT Jaipur, an M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi, and a B.Tech. in Production & Industrial Engineering from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur.
With over two decades of academic and leadership experience, Dr. Vijayvargy serves as Pan-Area Chair of Operations & Decision Sciences and Dean of Student Affairs at Jaipuria Jaipur. His teaching and research interests span Green Supply Chain Management, Industry 4.0, Operations Management, Supplier Selection, and Decision Sciences.
He has published extensively in reputed international journals such as The International Journal of Logistics Management, Journal of Enterprise Information Management , Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, the Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Benchmarking: an international journal, Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing, and Management of Environmental Quality. He has also presented papers at numerous international conferences and has been instrumental in organizing global academic events at Jaipuria Jaipur. In addition, he has authored textbooks and co-edited five book including “Netritva 4.0: Leadership in the Era of Connection and Collaboration” and “Envisioning Business for Better Tomorrow: Innovate, Integrate, Impact”.
Dr. Vijayvargy’s academic excellence has been consistently recognized. He has received Best Faculty Award (Pan-Jaipuria) for Teaching in 2023, 2024, and 2025; Teaching Feedback Award (Jaipur Campus) for 2023, 2024, and Best Faculty Award (Pan-Jaipuria) for Peer Feedback in 2018, 2024. His dedication to student engagement and innovative pedagogy has made him a respected mentor and thought leader in the field of management education.

He has organized six international conferences as convener in Jaipuria Jaipur (Years 2009, 2012, 2017, 2021, 2022 & 2023). He has also co-authored one text book and five edited books.
