Dr. Priya Choudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). She holds a Master of Commerce from Banaras Hindu University, where she secured 7th University Rank. She is the recipient of the Institute Outstanding Thesis Award at the 62nd Convocation of IIT Madras for her doctoral research.

Her research has been published in leading ABDC-A and internationally reputed journals, including International Review of Financial Analysis, Finance Research Letters and Research in International Business and Finance.  She has presented her research at several prestigious national and international conferences, including the Global Finance Conference, Vietnam Symposium in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Innovation (VSEFI), India Finance Conference, IIM Ahmedabad, and IFMR GSB, Krea University. She is a recipient of two Best Research Paper Awards for her work on digital banking, fintech, and sustainable development.

Dr. Choudhary’s research focuses on FinTech, Digital Banking, Banking Stability, Sustainable Finance, Financial Inclusion, ESG, and Corporate Finance. She serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting. She also serves as a Research Team Member at the CAMS–IITM Fintech Innovation Lab (CIFIL), IIT Madras.

Through her teaching and research, Dr. Choudhary aims to contribute to advancing knowledge in digital finance and preparing future finance professionals to address contemporary challenges in the evolving financial ecosystem.
