Before joining Jaipuria Institute of Management as a Business Communication faculty member, Dr. Singh served as Assistant Professor at Nirma University’s Institute of Management and at the Department of Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies, Manipal University Jaipur. She has also worked with IL&FS Education Technology as Senior Academic Officer and at NCERT, New Delhi, as a Project Fellow. Dr. Singh is a member of the International Scientific Committee – Indian Ocean Committee, Indentured Labour Route Project (ILRP). Her research has been published in reputed international journals and in the newsletter of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Aapravasi Ghat Trust Fund, Mauritius. She received the ICSSR Data Collection Abroad Award in 2017 and was awarded an ICSSR-funded research project in 2023. Dr. Singh also served as Co-Principal Investigator on the Erasmus+ EU-funded KODECET project (2024–2025). Her research interests include migration and diaspora studies, gendered migration, slaves’ narratives, and cultural production.
