
FELLOW PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT
Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida is committed to its vision and mission of providing learner-centric quality education for the benefit of all stakeholders and society at large. With its focus to make meaningful and valuable contribution to human well-being through learning and education, the institute is introducing Fellowship Program in Management (FPM), approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The doctoral program endeavors to cater to the growing manpower needs of industry and academia, that is, expert researchers and quality educators in the field of management. The institute aims to attract candidates with good research orientation and sound academic credentials for its program. The program will include intensive course work in research and specialization related subjects in the first year. The FPM scholars are expected to work closely in their respective areas of interest with their faculty guides to further the existing theory and practice in the field of business management through original research. The course shall culminate in a thesis based on original research. Institute is committed to promote academic integrity among scholars and discourage plagiarism in all its forms.

Course Work
Scholars must finish all requirements of the courses within the term in which the courses are offered. If for any reason, one is not able to complete a module or a part of it, he will be allowed to complete the same by next year. No further extension shall be granted after 2 years and failure to complete the course work in the maximum allotted time of 2 years will lead to automatic cancellation of FPM registration. However, the program duration of three years (extendable to a maximum of 5 years) will remain as it is even in case of extension is provided for the course work
Comprehensive Examination
On completion of the course work, the scholar takes the comprehensive examination. The comprehensive examination at the end of the first year tests whether the scholar has obtained a satisfactory level of knowledge in his/ her field of specialization and whether s/he has satisfactorily integrated the various courses taken by him/her in the area.
Thesis Proposal Formulation
After passing the comprehensive examination, the scholar enters the thesis writing stage. The scholar first develops a thesis proposal, for which she/he identifies a research topic, gives a seminar on the thesis proposal to Research Advisory Committee (RAC), and gets the thesis proposal approved by the RAC. The presentation of the proposal is to be completed within 9 months of the completion of the coursework and the comprehensive evaluation (which will be conducted within 15 days of the completion of coursework).
Thesis Submission and Defense
For a thesis to be submitted for the final evaluation the scholar has to ensure high academic standards. The minimum publication requirement for thesis submission will be 2 publications in ABDC/FT50, SSCI, SCI, SCOPUS and WoS indexed journals. The publication has to be related to the thesis and the same has to be certified by the research guide.

Scholars unable to complete the course in 3 years and needs extension shall pay an annual tuition fee of Rs. 120000 (one lakh and twenty thousand rupees only) and Rs. 132000 (one lakh and thirty-two thousand rupees only) for the 4th and 5th year respectively
APPLICATION FEES
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs.1050+5% Gst) in form of demand draft or cheque, payable in favour of . Jaipuria Noida Fee Collection Account.

The scholarship shall be provided only for the first 3 years of the candidature only. The Fellows receiving scholarships will also have waiver of annual tuition fee. Candidates receiving scholarship would be required to discharge academic responsibilities assigned to them.
