Dr. Vinod Kumar brings with him over 45 years of distinguished experience in academic administration, institutional development, and operational leadership, with a unique blend of expertise from both the defense and higher education sectors.

A retired officer of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Dr. Kumar served for 20 years as a Communication and Navigation Ground Engineer, during which he also contributed significantly as an instructor, teaching Communication Systems and Management subjects to officers and technical personnel. He was part of several high-level technical delegations to Russia and Ukraine, and a key member of the team that executed the first indigenous navigation installation at the Jammu, Bangalore, and New Delhi Air Force bases. His career in the IAF was anchored in operational excellence, technical integrity, and the core mission of the IAF – “Touching the Sky with Glory.”

In the academic domain, Dr. Kumar has been associated with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida since its inception in April 2004 as a founding member. He has been instrumental in the establishment and operationalization of Jaipuria campuses in Jaipur and Indore and currently serves as the Dean – Administration at the Noida campus.

He holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Reforms in India from CCS University, Meerut, along with a Master’s in Business Administration (HR) and a Master’s in Political Science.

Dr. Kumar is recognized for his strategic insight, disciplined leadership, and systems-oriented approach. His contributions span:
