Prof. Pallavi Srivastava is an assistant professor and current Chair of HR&OB area at Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow. She has earned her Doctorate in 2010 from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Her doctoral research is in the area of employer branding. She is a post graduate in zoology and a meritlister in her batch (2001-2003) in PGDBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow.
With an overall work experience of fifteen years in management teaching, research and industry, she bears a consistently good academic and service record with multidisciplinary exposure. Before joining Jaipuria Lucknow, she has also taught at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna and Amity University Lucknow. Currently she offers electives on Talent Acquisition, Training & Development and HR Analytics.
She is a keen learner and an avid researcher with strong writing skills which have resulted in several research publications/ presentations in various national and international peer-reviewed journals and conferences of repute including the prestigious Academy of Management Conference held in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012. She has also published five teaching cases- on Infosys, Tata Nano, Motorola India- Mobile Devices Business, Sona Koyo Steering Systems Limited and Sula Wines. Till date she has more than 200 citations of her research papers in Google scholar (https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?user=lV_i4NQAAAAJ&hl=en), more than 30 citations in Scopus (https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=24475582500) and around 10 citations in Web of Science (Thomas Reuters). She is a reviewer of papers/ cases/ symposia for International Journal of Manpower, Team Performance Management, International Journal of Economics and Business Research (IJEBR). Asian Journal of Management Cases, Amity Business Journal, the Annual Academy of Management Conference, the Indian Academy of Management Conference, IHRM Conference etc. She has guided candidates in their projects for the award of Diploma in Training and Development from ISTD. Currently she is also a member of Thesis Advisory Committees of three PhD students.
She has trained officers of CISF (DIG/AIG & Commandant level), Indian Revenue Services (Group A), Customs & Excise (Group A), Geological Survey of India, All India Radio & Doordarshan (Prasar Bharti), Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., NABARD, India Post etc., bankers, corporate executives and academicians in various development programmes. She has also been a resource person for an FDP on “Writing & publishing research papers”. Her corporate training interests include change management and organizational transformation, train the trainer, interpersonal effectiveness, team building, leadership, people management strategies for competitive advantage, employee engagement and understanding self.
A soft-spoken person with an affable demeanour, she loves to explore new places and try out new recipes in her leisure time.
