Abha. R. Dixit is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. She is also a Josh Talks speaker - a national content and upskilling platform showcasing inspiring stories of people from all walks of life. She completed her EPHRM from IIM Calcutta in 2020 and qualified the TKT 3 (Teaching Knowledge Test) conducted by AICTE and Cambridge English with C1 and above bandwidth in 2018. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature, an M.Phil. in English Language Teaching, and a Master’s degree in English Literature. Over her 18-years teaching career, Dr. Dixit has skillfully integrated her deep literary knowledge and up to date pedagogical expertise to develop and deliver impactful business communication courses. Known for her engaging teaching style, she effectively prepares students for the demands of professional communication in diverse business environments. Dr. Dixit has published research papers and also presented at various national/ international conferences, contributing valuable insights to the field. As a dedicated mentor, she provides comprehensive guidance on career development, fostering her students' academic and professional growth. Further, she has also conducted numerous Business Communication management development programs in private and government organizations. A few reputed names include Birla Corporation Ltd., Medicamen Biotech Ltd., Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Customs and Excise Department, Income Tax Commissioners and Officers, Senior Bankers from State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Geological Survey of India, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, India Post, and others. Besides this, she has also acted in some short documentaries and ad films. Finally, apart from her professional commitments, she is an agent of social change and she works as a volunteer in many villages to train and empower women through education and skill training.
