Dr. Devesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Business Analytics area at the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow Campus. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIITDM Jabalpur, an M. Tech. in Industrial Engineering from MNIT Jaipur, and a Ph.D. from MNIT Jaipur.
His research interests span machine learning, data science, decision-making, supply chain analytics, and optimization. He developed and solved mixed-integer and multi-objective optimization model using Python, GAMS/CPLEX, and LINGO, and employed data-driven approaches to support predictive and prescriptive analytics, including retrieval-augmented generation-based workflows.
Dr. Kumar has published research in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals including Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Production Economics, Operations Management Research, International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, and International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, along with conference papers and book chapters. He also serves as a reviewer for several reputed journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production, Array, Research in Transportation Business & Management, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Annals of Operations Research.
