Dr. Vranda Jain

Dr. Vranda Jain is an academician, interdisciplinary researcher, trainer and administrator with 17 years of experience in academic and government settings, based in New Delhi, India. Currently, she is associated with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida as an Economics faculty. Prior to this, she served the country’s apex body of social science research, the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, New Delhi as Deputy Director (Research). Dr Jain has conducted training programs and workshops for the Policy Modelling Association for Inclusive Development (PMAID), Royal Government of Bhutan, and Tata Trent on topics like Circular Economy, Market Competition, and Government Budgeting. She is a member of the Incubator Seed Management Committee of STEP, which is registered under the Start-Up India Seed Fund Scheme. She has presented numerous papers at various international and national Conferences. Her research papers are published in reputed refereed journals like Computers and Industrial Engineering (Science Direct), Journal of Enterprise Information Management (Emerald), Tourism Recreation Research (Taylor & Francis), and others. She is also a reviewer for some of the prestigious international journals published by Elsevier and Emerald. Her research interest includes International Trade, Sustainable development, Global Value Chains, Industry 4.0 and Socio- Economic Policy Analysis.
