Dr. Sharmili Banik is an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. She holds a B.Tech from NIT Agartala and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from IIT Madras. Her research interests include Intelligent Transportation Systems, Sustainable Transportation, Business Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
She has over five years of experience across academia, industry, and research. She has worked as a Data Scientist at Crayon Data, Chennai, and taught at Sri Balaji University, Pune. She also served as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Madras and conducted training in Python and R for professionals via platforms like Masai and PrepLabs.
Dr. Banik was awarded the MHRD Scholarship (2017–2022) for her academic achievements.
