Dr. Rohan Bhalla holds a Ph.D. from FMS, Jamia Millia Islamia (a central university). He was a Gold Medalist in his Master’s program and completed his undergraduate program and educational qualification through first class. He is an executive alumnus of IIM Kozhikode and is certified in advanced analytics and academic research writing. He has also completed an advanced research course from Mid-Sweden University, Sweden. He coordinates the International Research Symposium in Service Management (IRSSM), India Chapter. In terms of publication, he has more than 30 publications in International and National Journals, including Scopus and ABDC-listed journals and edited books. He has published books on tourism education at the school level, chapters in edited books, and the Encyclopedia of Tourism Management and Marketing, which includes publishers like Routledge, Edward Elgar, IGI Global, Springer, and Palgrave Macmillan. He also assisted in the consultancy projects of EYI and the Government of Uttarakhand. He serves on the Editorial Board of Scopus-Q1 and ABDC-indexed journal-Journal of Tourism Futures. He has been the managing editor of a special issue in the Journal of Ecotourism. He also has two patents and six copyrights to his credit. He is also doing a joint research project under the ICSSR-BRICS nation collaboration-ICSSR, India-NIHSS, and South Africa bilateral program in the field of social sciences. Dr. Rohan Bhalla also shares his expertise through lectures and invited talks at FDPs. He has been a resource person in Atal FDPs and refresher programs organized by universities and institutes like BHU, Vishwakarma University, Jagran Lakecity University, PIMR-Gwalior, and the Institution of Engineers India. His expertise lies in qualitative and developmental research using multi-disciplinary approaches, particularly in the social sciences. His interest lies in Philosophy of Research, Psychology, Sociology, Spirituality and Spiritual Tourism, Spiritual and Emotional Intelligence, Consciousness, Religious and Rural Tourism, Transformation and Regeneration, Sustainability, Mental Health and Well-being, Urban and Gender Studies, Organizational Behaviour, and Human Resource Management.
