Divyam Jain is an Assistant Professor in the area of Accounting and Finance. He completed his Ph.D. in Accounting & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur. He also holds an M.Com. from the University of Rajasthan and a B.Com. (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. His research explores themes in accounting, corporate finance, ESG, corporate governance, and value creation, with a strong focus on how businesses in emerging markets engage with stakeholders and sustainability. His work has been published in the Journal of Economic Studies (ABDC B / ABS 2), where he studied how investors respond to changes in sustainability index rankings across Asian markets. Divyam has presented his research at several prominent conferences, including the India Finance Conference (IIM Raipur, N.L. Dalmia), the SESTEF Conference (University of Southampton, UK), the World Finance and Banking Symposium, and the Vietnam Symposium on Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Innovation. He has received the UGC Junior Research Fellowship in Commerce and was recognised with the Best Paper Award at the Research Symposium in Finance and Economics hosted by IFMR Krea University.

He has also been an active participant in academic development programmes, including the doctoral consortium at IIM Bangalore, a student-centered learning workshop led by Harvard Business Publishing, and faculty development programmes focused on panel data and research writing. With hands-on experience in tools like Stata, R, Python, and AI-based research applications, Divyam brings a strong data-driven approach to both his teaching and research.
