Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti

Deepankar Chakrabarti is an Information System/Business Analytics practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked in large IT and Analytics projects in India, Australia, USA, UK, West Germany (erstwhile), Japan, and Canada and has developed commercial application software.

He has undertaken various consulting assignments for the World Bank, Ministry of Urban Development (Government of Mizoram), Palestine Telecom Co., TCIL-BellSouth, BASIX, Ramakrishna Mission, PRADAN, India Development Foundation amongst many others. Consulting assignments include the development of Integrated Business Information Systems, GIS-based decision tools for planning, marketing and control, and Knowledge Management Systems.

He has published several research articles in journals and has also co-authored a book. He is also an editor and peer reviewer of national and international publications. He has taught at various business schools, including IIM Indore.
