Dr. Ashutosh Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the area of Finance at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna and a Master’s degree in Finance from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He brings prior academic experience from the School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. Dr. Yadav has published extensively in A-Category ABDC, Q1-ranked, and SSCI/SCIE indexed journals, including reputed outlets such as Management Decision, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, and Energy Strategy Reviews. His work is centered around ESG–financial performance linkages, financial distress, and energy economics, employing advanced econometric, Bayesian, and machine learning techniques. He is particularly known for applying panel data models, threshold regression, and causal inference approaches to real-world financial problems in emerging markets.
PhD (Finance)
Dr. Ashutosh’s research agenda focuses on addressing sustainability challenges through the lens of Finance. He has recently explored the mediating role of ESG practices during financial distress, the valuation impact of green innovation, and how environmental taxes affect capital allocation decisions in India. His analyses are empirical, data-driven, and policy-relevant, often leveraging software such as R, Python, and STATA.
He actively engages in peer reviewing for several SSCI-indexed journals and serves on the editorial board of SAGE Open.
