Dr. Ashutosh is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the National Institute of Technology Patna and holds a Master’s in Finance from Banaras Hindu University. His academic interests include Applied Finance, Financial Modelling and Valuation, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting.

Ashutosh has contributed to finance scholarship through publications in ABDC-A, SSCI, SCIE, and Scopus (Q1) journals, including Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, Energy Strategy Reviews, and Management Decision. His research explores the intersection of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, financial distress, and firm valuation, while also examining the role of machine learning and technological innovation in finance, as well as broader issues of financial development and sustainable energy transitions.

At JIMJ, Ashutosh teaches Corporate Finance, Financial Modelling and Valuation, Accounting for Business, and Management Accounting. His pedagogy emphasizes application-driven learning, integrating real-world case studies, simulations, and financial modelling tools to prepare students for industry challenges.

In addition to teaching and research, Ashutosh serves on the editorial boards of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (SSCI, Q1) and SAGE Open (SSCI, Q1). He also reviews for leading international journals, including Management Decision and Journal of Cleaner Production. He has supervised dissertations, guided student projects, and mentored learners in industry-focused assignments.

Proficient in R, Python, EViews, and Excel, he combines quantitative expertise with applied financial insights to bridge the gap between theory and practice while contributing to academic excellence and industry relevance.
