Dr. Ankur Chauhan is a Professor in the area of Operations Management at Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He has published his research work in top ABS, ABDC and SCI journals of Operations, Information Systems and Environmental management. Some of the journals where his scholarly work has been published are Journal of Business Research, Annals of Operations Research, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Journal of Environmental Management, and Journal of Cleaner Production. His published research work has 1472 citations on google scholar and continuing with an h-index of 15.

In his PhD research work he has developed a decision support framework for healthcare waste management in India. In addition to this, his research interest lies in managing plastic waste, electronic waste, and agri-food waste. Since, he majorly carries out application-based research work; therefore, his research articles specifically focus on real-life problems of firms such as facility location, forecasting, supply chain management and reverse logistics among others. His proficiency in applying multi criteria decision making methods and statistical modelling methods such as Regression analysis and ARIMA modelling makes the environment conducive for him to carry out a good quality research work.

He has been an avid author on LinkedIn publishing several articles on business management topics of interest for MBA students and policy makers of India. His articles are solution driven that provides an opportunity to close the loop for his stakeholders.
