Project Ummeed 2.0 is a unique initiative of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, in collaboration with RHA, to extend a helping hand to lesser privileged children in the local community. The objective of the project is to guide and mentor village children from local villages on a number of social aspects, with primary focus on basic literacy, skill building and creating general awareness.
The project is a year-long program where Jaipuria Indore students (now referred to as mentors) with the support of RHA handhold a set of mentees and share the responsibility of bringing a concrete change in their respective beneficiaries.
Mentors and mentees meet regularly to discuss their progress and work towards their goals. Mentors provide guidance and support, while mentees are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and development.
