Dr. Kajal. S is a distinguished academician, author, and researcher in the fields of Business and Professional Communication and Liberal Arts. She currently serves as an Associate Professor and the PAN Area Chair at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow.

A recognized authority in education, Kajal was nominated for the National Awards to Teachers (Higher Education) 2023 under 55 years by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). She is a recipient of multiple “Best Faculty Awards” by the Institute for her transformative impact on student learning and course engagement. Her pedagogical approach integrates psychological insights with modern communication strategies, a methodology that makes complex theories both accessible and actionable.

Her perspective is profoundly shaped by a cross-cultural upbringing in Africa and India, fostering a deep expertise in navigating intercultural nuances. This global lens defined her early career as the first Indian recipient of the ECIS (European Council for International Schools) award for International Understanding (1989). Beyond the classroom, she is a prolific speaker, including a notable video on Josh Talks with over 10,000 views—and a mentor for the Incubation Cell, where she supports entrepreneurs in honing their narrative and communication strategies.

As a researcher, she has various publications in both national and international journals, which include SCOPUS and ABDC journals. Her research interests lie in the domain of teaching pedagogy, business and professional communication and psychological interventions in teaching pedagogy. Her corporate footprint spans significant contributions to the Uttar Pradesh Metro Railway Corporation (UPMRC), the Geological Survey of India, India Post, and various other institutions. As an author, she has published two poetry collections—Yackety Yack and Threadbare, which won the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award—and contributed to the book The Jewel in the Canon – Sherlockian Reflections on India.

Dr. Kajal.S continues to champion the integration of holistic human values into professional education, ensuring that students and professionals alike grow as empathetic, effective leaders.
