Dr. Kajal Srivastava is an academician, a trainer and a researcher with more than a decade of experience in the field of Business Communication. At present, she is the International Relations Committee Chairperson and PAN Area Chair of Business Communication and Liberal Arts at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow.

Her USP lies in blending concepts of communication with psychology to aid effective communication. Having been brought up in a milieu of cultures (African and Indian), she is adept at understanding nuances of cultural diversity. Her forte lies in making complex communication theories understandable and doable in a simplistic, and highly interactive manner. Her recent video on Josh Talks Spoken English platform has over 10k views. She has also featured on a talk show "Just Like That" (available on YouTube) where she's expressed her views on "Drawing Lines."

In terms of training, she is the resource faculty for Managerial Development Programs and has conducted numerous training programs for industry and corporates. Amongst MDP’s conducted, both in-house and outside Jaipuria, she’s taken Communication sessions for Uttar Pradesh Metro Railway Corporation (UPMRC), Geological Survey of India, India Post and Margdarshak Financial Services, amongst numerous others.

Dr. Kajal has also developed, designed and delivered a Communication Skills Course for Margdarshak Financial Services, Lucknow. Under the umbrella of Liberal Arts, she has designed a course titled “Introduction to Psychology” for students at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. With a keen interest in Psychology, she has successfully completed various MOOC courses from reputed universities, which also include Ivy league universities.

As a researcher, she has various publications in both national and international journals, which include SCOPUS and ABDC journals. Her research interests lie in the domain of teaching pedagogy, business communication and psychological interventions in teaching pedagogy.

In addition to this, Dr. Kajal has been a nominee for the National Awards to Teachers (Higher Education) 2023 by AICTE under 55 years. She has also been awarded the “Best Faculty Award (Based on Most Positive Impact on Students),” for 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and “Best Faculty Award (Based on Course Feedback),” for 2021 ,2023, 2024 at PAN Campus level by Jaipuria Institute of Management for her contributions to student life and learning.
