Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur becomes a signatory to United Nations Principles for Responsive Management Education (UNPRME) and joined the elite group of top 880 Business and Management Related higher education institutions in the world.
Dr. Chandrika Parmar, UNPRME, India Chapter head, and Associate Professor, SPJIMR handed over the membership charter to Dr. Prabhat Pankaj, Director of the Institute.
Dr. Chandrika also addressed the students on the theme ‘Knowing all about UN PRME: India Chapter Journey’ and emphasises the growing need for Ethics and Sustainability in management education. Dr. Chandrika motivated the students to become socially responsible from within and walk on the path of Ethics and Sustainability with conviction. She also applauded the social engagement efforts of the Jaipuria Institute of Management. The session was coordinated by Dr. Varun Chotia, Faculty head of Social Responsibility at the Jaipur campus.
The session on UNPRME was followed by a session on Startups. ‘Starting your career with Startups’. Nand Kishor Yadav, Founder, RNS IT Solutions, and Cyber Security expert interacted with students and shared his entrepreneurial journey.
Entrepreneur Dheeraj Mohan, an alumnus of the institute also shared his thoughts and encouraged the students to become entrepreneurs. He advised the students to keep experimenting with new ideas in life and never fear rejections and failures.
Dr. Anvay Bhargava, Chairperson, Innovation and Entrepreneurship cell coordinated the session and presented the vote of thanks.
