Research has always been an integral part of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. With 80% doctoral laureates forming the core of our faculty team and another substantial number of them pursuing doctorate, we already facilitate constant evolution of management theories and practices.

About FPM

The Fellow Program in Management at Jaipuria Lucknow offers a rigorous academic and research platform in diverse areas of management, designed for academicians; students, and professionals alike, driven by an inherent passion to impact business management. The aim is to nurture scholarly talent equipped with analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to offer management wisdom to address the industry’s needs and those of society.

Our Fellow Program in Management (FPM) as a full-time program which focuses on quality research through the continuous mentoring process. The functioning of the program will be administered by the Program Director (FPM) and guided by the Fellow Program in Management (FPM) Committee. Successful completion of the program is dependent on two requirements – participants must complete all the coursework requirements and successfully defend the submitted thesis as per the rules and regulations of the program.

FPM Fees (Batch 2024-26)

Caution Money:. 10,000 applicable to both full-time and part-time scholars across all campuses.

Financial Assistance to fulltime scholars

  1. Contingency grant of Rs. 12,000/- per year.
  2. Financial support for attending the national conferences to present self-authored/co-authored papers, once a year (maximum Rs. 25,000/-)
  3. Financial support for attending the international conferences to present self-authored/co-authored papers, once in two years (maximum Rs. 1,00,000/-)

Other provisions (for fulltime as well as part time scholars)

  1. Monetary incentive (at par with faculty members) for publication of research paper and cases.
  2. Access to www.scopus.com.
  3. Access to Science Direct, Capital Line, Emerald databases.
  4. Access to CESIM simulation.
  5. Access to data analysis software such as SPSS, SmartPLS, and PowerBI

Eligibility for FPM Admission

  • A post graduate Degree of a University or equivalent with FIRST CLASS in the area of Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science or Commerce will be considered for admission to the Fellow programme.
  • Candidates appearing for their final examination can also apply. Such scholars if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December.

Eligibility Criteria for Fulltime Scholarship

  • Candidate should have obtained his/her Masters’ from one of the top 100 NIRF ranked institutions in ‘Management’ category or one of the top 200 NIRF ranked institutions in ‘Overall’ category.
  • Candidate should be an alumnus/alumna of Jaipuria Institute of Management.
  • A post graduate Degree of a University or equivalent with FIRST CLASS in the area of Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science or Commerce will be considered for admission to the Fellow program.
  • Candidates appearing for their final examination can also apply. Application Procedure

  • Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format along with the fees through the institute website.
  • Candidates are required to submit a tentative research proposal of 500-1000 words along with the application and the same shall be discussed in the interview.
  • Number of Scholars to be admitted shall be at the discretion of the institute based on the availability of the resources.
  • The selection will be made once a year.
  • The selection will be based on the following criteria and the weightage assigned to them are as follows:

Selection Procedure

Admission will be based on:

  • Satisfying the requirements of minimum qualifications
  • Performance in:
    • The Jaipuria Fellow Programme in Management Aptitude Test (JFPMAT) is to be conducted by Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow which will test knowledge in the domain of business and management, general awareness, research methodology, general and teaching aptitude. The test will be computer based and objective-type.
    • Personal Interview for short-listed candidates will be conducted based on JFPMAT.

Admission Timeline

  • Last Date to apply: 31st May 2024
  • JFPMAT Entrance Test: 1st week of June 2024 (exempted for candidates with JRF/NET, CAT 85 percentile and above)
  • Research Proposal Presentation & Interview: 1st / 2nd week of June 2024
  • Declaration of Results: 3rd Week of June 2024
  • Session Starts: Last week of July 2024 / 1st week of August 2024
  • Last Date to apply: 31st May 2023
