Biography

Prof. Singhvi is a professor at Jaipuria Institute of Management. He did his Ph.D. in Marketing in 1985. He has experience of more than 30 years into teaching at reputed institutes of India.

He is Gold-medalist in M.A. (Economics), LL.B. (Taxation), and PGDBM. He is with Jaipuria Institute of Management since 2018. He has been engaged for 33 years, in academics at University of Jodhpur, Directorate of College Education, Rajasthan, Senior Faculty (Marketing) at Management Training Institute-Staff College of SAIL, Professor of Marketing- Management Development Institute, Gurgaon; Indian Institute of Management, Indore; Fore School of Management, New Delhi; International Management Institute, New Delhi and IMT, Ghaziabad. He has been Chairman- Course Curriculum Quality Committee; MDP and Industry Linkages Committee; Library Committee; Marketing Area and Program Director. He is an extremely demanding Marketing Professor in country and in large B-schools students look forward to have at least one course taught by him.  In between the academic career, he has spent 18 years in managing enterprises as Field Sales Manager in Fertiliser PSUs, Head of Training and Acting Chief- Personnel of Marketing Division of Steel Authority of India, General Manager- Corporate Training and Development and Management Advisor with Indo-Rama Synthetic Ltd. and Director and Dean of Asia Pacific Institute of Management. He is possibly one of the very few Indian marketing academicians to spend an academic term at Kellogg School of Management, North Western University, USA. He was UNDP Fellow there. He has also been trained on Participant-centered Learning and Case Writing and Case Development at Harvard Business School. He was a member of the Board of IMPCL He has extended consultancy, training and education services in the area of Marketing and General Management to various firms in India and abroad. His clients are from all sectors, types and sizes of enterprises. He is actively engaged in faculty development in Case Method Learning for over a decade both at university and school level.

Research

He has various research publication to his credit. His publications are published in Ieading journals/magazines such as Ivey Publishing, 9B15N008 and Asia Pacific J. of Management Research and Innovation.

He also published a book named “Envisioning the Future of Indian Management Education”, published by McGraw Hill Education
