Biography

Dr. Rajpurohit is an MBA from IIT Roorkee and holds a University Gold Medal in B.E. (Hons.) - ECE from MBM University, Jodhpur. His doctoral thesis is on the applications of machine learning (artificial neural network) in deploying effective project teams in real time. He is a UGC NET qualified candidate in Management and has more than a decade long rich experience of working in industry and academia.

Prior to joining Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, he has worked at School of Business Management, NMIMS Indore for five years as assistant professor in the area of HR and OB. He has taught core and elective courses in the areas of HR, OB, Consulting, Indian Ethos and Business Ethics. He was also the Faculty In-charge for ‘We Care’ Civic Engagement Internship program and a mentor to student committees like Social Responsibility Club and HR Learning Centre.

During his six years’ stint at BHEL in Group-A executive cadre, he handled entire gamut of HR, IR and CSR activities while working in different plants and offices across India. In his tenure as in-charge of New Initiatives Cell at Nagpur HQ, he was a Core Team Member for implementation of SAP-HR and PCMM. At Trichy plant, he was a member of the leadership team which had won the prestigious RASBIC award. He is trained in Labour Laws and IR by NIPM Kolkata and had troubleshot several IR issues at different project sites in Power Sector - Western Region.

He is a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner. He has conducted several training programs and competency assessments for middle and senior level corporate executives and other professionals. His Consultancy assignments, MDPs & Workshops span across some large organisations like - Indore Smart City, MPPKVVCL, ICSI Indore, CHRC, A-One Products, Treebo Daksh, AU Small Finance Bank, etc. in the areas of HR Policy, PCMM, TNI and EI.

He received Best Paper Award at international conference organized by NMIMS Indore and IMA in 2021. He served as a Session Chair in international conference organized by NMIMS Indore and CIMA in 2022, and as a Reviewer in the prestigious INDAM- 2023 conference organized by SBM, NMIMS Mumbai. He has reviewed books of publishing houses like McGraw Hill and IGI Global. He has also served as Subject Matter Expert for AICTE’s SLA project. He received ‘InsideIIM's Professor of the Year’ recognition in 2020 and 2021, and cherishes it deeply.
