Dr. Banasree Dey has been in academics for the past nine years. She has been associated with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida since 2009. Prior to this, she was associated with the Institute of Public Enterprise in Hyderabad. She completed her PhD in the area of Tourism Marketing from Tezpur University, Assam in 2008. Earlier, after completion of her MBA (Marketing Management) from Tezpur University, Dr. Dey had done a PG Diploma in Advertising Management from ICM, Bangalore and an Advertising Course (Audit) from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She has taught various marketing courses over the past few years including Services Marketing, Advertising and Sales Promotion, Customer Relationship Management, Rural Marketing, Understanding Service Businesses, Retail Marketing, Strategic Marketing Management apart from Marketing Management. She has published in national and international journals including Tourism Management (an Elsevier publication) and ASEAN Journal on Hospitality and Tourism.
