Student internships represent a unique, innovative, nontraditional educational approach based on experiential learning. Summer internship provides management students valuable opportunities in which they can explore their capabilities and interests while networking with professionals in a corporate setup. Management students enhance their domain knowledge while undergoing internships in a variety of Functional Areas, including Marketing, Finance, Communications, Human Resources, IT, Operations, and others. Summer Interns work directly with full- time professionals on projects and tasks that are important to the team.Domains Banking & Finance Consulting General Management Sales & Marketing Operations & Supply Chain Human Resource and Personnel Management Information Technology and Related Others
Note: The above mentioned list is suggestive but not exhaustive.Important Dates September 15: Last Date for Submission of Abstracts September 20: Acceptance of Abstracts October 05: Submission of Presentation October 14: Presentations ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY The project should be completed in summer 2016. The project should be completed by a single student. Group projects are not eligible. The student must be enrolled in PGDM (or equivalent) program. Students should present their original work done during their summer internship. Students should receive their mentors' approval before submitting an abstract. One of the following two options should be considered while applying for nomination: Institutional Nomination: The nomination should be made by the B-school head (or an authorized faculty) Self Nomination: Individual students are also eligible to participate directly in the contest with the approval of mentor. 20 Shortlisted participants will be invited for final round for making presentation. Each participant will get 15 minutes for the presentation.
