Jaipuria Institute had taken a small step forward in the form of launching a social internship programme in the year 2016, christened as Winter Internship for the Societal Happiness (WISH). Since than this programme has become quite popular amongst our students in the campus. In the very first year of its establishment, our institute manage to have 10 NGO partners who readily accepted our students as volunteers.
We also received a lot of appreciation for launching WISH programme from our recruiters who are our major stakeholders. Emboldened by this, the institute decided to provide similar opportunity and exposure to all students of our PGDM programme. Herein after all students of institute, undergo one week of internship programme where our students in small groups are deputed with our partnering NGOs and carry out various services , task and responsibilities, as assigned to them by respective partner NGO. Under this the students renders at least 40 hours (and maximum up to 100 hours) of active off campus social internship in close association of assigned NGO at different locations of their deputation.
