Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur celebrated the “yellow colour festival” by offering their prayers to maa Saraswati. On this auspicious day of Vasantotsav students beautifully decorated the temple and organised a puja to get the blessings of maa Saraswati. Vasant Panchami sometimes referred to as Saraswati Puja or Shree Panchami, is a Hindu festival. On this day Hindus worship Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture.
Being students we even decided to offer our prayers to the goddess maa Saraswati, to get wisdom and knowledge. Hence we organised a puja too. Our day began with the puja, attended not only by students but also by the faculty members along with the director sir and some of the students from other schools as well as colleges. It was followed by hawan and aarti. After getting the blessings from the goddess maa Saraswati, devotees also offered pushpanjali to the goddess. With the successful completion of the puja, kheer, boondi and fruits were distributed to all as Prasad.
