20th April 2013:The First National Social Media Conclave on New India: New Media was conducted on 20th April 2013 at Jaipuria Institute of Management Indore. It was the most awaited one of its kind event happened for the first time in Central India which aimed to bring in the awareness of the impact of this new age powerful medium i.e. Social Media in all the sectors of the society such as Law Enforcement, Politics, Defence Forces, Corporate World, Media and Academia. The day long deliberations of the conclave created an interface among these experts who are the acumen in their domains, who specifically emphasized on the emerging role of social media, shared their practical experiences and insights on how new media technologies will determine the future growth of their respective fields and the country on the whole.
