KishanJainani is a conventionally handsome young man, who has the perfect ‘young manager’ look. Infact, he was the face of Jaipuria Institute of Management in their brochures and ads. Kishan believes he has always been a ‘free spirit’, and it was Jaipuria Institute of Management Jaipur that helped him turn this into his strength. An alumnus of the 2010 batch, Kishan is currently an Assistant Manager with Axis Bank.
“I think I’ve been able to get to a fairly good position pretty early in my career. I made it to Jaipuria Jaipur immediately after my graduation from SS Jain Subodh College, but thanks to the immense industry interaction in Jaipuria Jaipur, I’ve never felt the lack of work experience.”
He believes that the greatest strength of the faculty members of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur is that they have an amazing grasp of what industry expects from its managers.
“It’s not just about the theory in the classrooms of Jaipuria Jaipur. The faculty will tell you about industry practices and even point out the wrong examples from the right ones that they have come across during their careers. Most of the faculty members at Jaipuria Jaipur are corporate professionals-turned-academicians, so it really helps.”
Kishan is very proud of his Jaipuria credentials and is in constant touch with his batch-mates from Jaipuria Jaipur on social networks and the mobile phone.
“I’ve made everlasting friends in Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. Even in our professional lives, we constantly watch out for each other. We keep sharing our knowledge about opportunities within each others’organisations, and try and help out our colleagues. The best part is that, irrespective of the campus, Jaipuria alumni are a very close-knit group.”
Kishan acknowledges that he is “enjoying learning and loving earning”at Axis Bank. He is positive that he has it in him to reach the highest level in this organisation.
“I have set myself a target of being a branch manager at Axis Bank in Jaipur.Jaipuria Jaipur has equipped me with all the necessary qualities and skills to get there.”
