A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.
Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida Campus organized a two days MDP on ‘Disha- Capability Building of Indian Oil Dealers, Achieving Customer Excellence’ for Indian Oil Corporation Limited from 26th to 27th July 2016. There were 35 IOCL Dealers present for the programme. The programme inaugurated by Mr Sumitra Srivastava, DGM-IOCL; Shri Rajiv Shrestha, CDRS-IOCL and Ms Sunita Bari, Manager-IOCL who also present. Mr. Yash Pal Kanwar, VP- MDP & C welcomed the guests and threw light upon the concept of the program “Disha” and mentioned that in the era of competition Customer is the king and all our activities should be centered around the same. He also shared the legacy of Jaipuria institutions and how service is an important component even in the education industry. Mr. Jai Prakash Chaubey, Senior Manager – MDP & Consultancy compeered the event.
This program is a part of the major Corporate Initiative for training the dealers of IOC, through all the campuses of Jaipuria Institute. One such programme has already been conducted by the Jaipur Campus. Inaddtion, two more programme at Jaipur and three more programme at Noida Campus are in the pipeline. It is envisaged that in the near future such programmes will also start from other Campuses. This will build long tern sustainable value adding relationship with the Maharatna Corporate IOC and Jaipuria Group of Management Institute (Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, and Indore).
