It’s a special year for Jaipuria Lucknow – as the institute is completing 20 years in its journey. It was no surprise then, that the orientation program was planned perfectly to ensure that the incoming batch realizes that ‘Jaipuria is a home away from home’ and the students get their first taste of the two years ahead.
To make the six-day program memorable, Jaipuria Lucknow had thoughtfully planned over 50 different activities for its new students:
There were fun activities – Antakshari with four rounds, singing, Rangoli, Carom, Badminton, poetry writing, creative writing, poster writing, group dance, and Tattoo making.
There were student competitions to be won – JAM, an extempore speaking challenge, Tug-O-War, which emphasized team spirit, Collage, chess and debating.
Students got their first exposure to Management challenges through the AD Mad Show –where they had to create advertisements, IT quiz, Operations quiz and HR quiz.
Harshit from PGDM batch 2015 – 2017 said, “I did a number of POP presentations, which helped me get over my stage fright. I even won an award, which was a pleasant surprise.”
For a fitting finale, the fashion event called – Fashionista, with themes like Nawabi Andaaz and Beach rounds got maximum cheers from all the students.
By the end of six days the orientation program served its objectives – how to get each student to showcase her skill, build an atmosphere of healthy competition and fun and give the students initial glimpse of how to acquire and use management skills.
