Eureka Dandapath is a hands-on person. She believes in doing rather than theorising and that’s what she loves the most about Jaipuria Noida. “Jaipuria Noida lays more emphasis on practical application than on theory and for this it brings in the best people from the corporate world as guest lecturers”. An aspiring marketing professional, Eureka completed her B.Tech. in Information Technology from RCEW, Jaipur. Owing to the excellent corporate, academic and industrial exposure that Jaipuria Noida gives to its students, Eureka decided to join Jaipuria Noida to pursue a degree in PGDM (Marketing).
As part of the requirements for her degree, Eureka completed her internship with Wildnet Technology, Noida as a marketing trainee. She was picked up by the company in the campus interview and went through three rounds, which included a group discussion and personal interview. Her experience, she believes, will help her with placements this year. , “Wildnet Technology is into internet marketing and mobile applications development. I was part of the business development team and had to deal with international clients, understanding their needs and accordingly convincing them to collaborate and enter into reseller partnerships or outsourcing.” The most exciting yet challenging part of the internship for her was the interaction with the clients in the UK, understanding their requirements and communicating with them. She worked directly under the Global Marketing Head and believes that this made her learning immense. Throughout her internship, Prof. Nimit Gupta from Jaipuria Noida, who made sure that all her confusions were resolved, ably supported her.
Jaipuria Noidahas achieved a hundred per cent internship placement this year and Eureka gives the credit to the Training & Placement department for this achievement and performance. The internship has given her a sound background in internet marketing, along with teaching her the value of being clear and confident about one’s own self, focusing on learning and having a passion for the work assigned. Apart from the internship, the journey at Jaipuria Noida itself has been a learning experience for her. “In this past one year,Jaipuria Noida has nurtured me a lot and I can feel the difference in myself. Jaipuria Noida has provided me with industrial exposure and with that, the faculty has always helped us focus on analysing things keeping their practical aspect in mind. I have been an active participant in several events have also won some of them. I have also coordinated many events for clubs like marketing, IT and dramatics. The whole 1st year was an amazing year of learning throughout.”
Eureka wants to establish herself as a marketing professional in the time to come, with one of the best companies in the country. She is convinced that Jaipuria Noida is enabling her to find that spot.
