Ankita Poonia of Class 2017 of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur is one such person. The shy girl who came to the campus has transformed herself to an ambitious, organized HR professional. She is all set to join Bandhan Bank in a matter of few months.
She calls her placement with Bandhan Bank as a payback for her efforts in the past two years. “It has been the icing on the cake, a sweet reward for my decision to come to this amazing institute,” she says from Cloud 9.
Ankita has always been quite academically inclined. She wanted to bag herself a HR profile because she thinks she has got it in her. “I have always liked to motivate people, both personally and professionally. That’s why I chose HR for my specialization. It’s incredible that Jaipuria, Jaipur has made it possible for me to have a career in the field. It’s the perfect start to my professional journey.”
Ankita adds that besides the two years of training to master her chosen field, she was offered special guidance to ace the placement process. It helped her make a lasting impact with her recruiters. “The training sessions organized by the institute helped us overcome any kind of placement related issues. Mock interviews were recorded so that we could view and work on our performance later. It was a one of a kind approach that helped me get to my goal,” she explains.
Today she recommends PGDM program at Jaipuria, Jaipur to all aspirants who want to make a career in the corporate world. Ankita believes that it equips students to face challenges of the industry. “I had heard a lot about the institute but when I came to the campus I was bowled over. The program makes you think and take initiatives. It has been an enormous experience, which I won’t forget in a hurry. I will miss everything on the campus,”
Ankita calls her SIP with Anandrathi Share And Brokers Pvt. Ltd a huge building block in her practical training at the institute. She intends to take that learning to her workplace and make an impact. “As a Customer Relationship Manager I will handle customer queries, complaints and provide information about various policies and services of the bank. I can’t wait to take my career to a higher level with my efforts,” she says brimming with confidence.
